Con report time!

All in all, good time. Well, for four of us. The other two, that is me and 'Momma Caketown', were manning our booth. (By the way, didn't get any art sold, but we sold about seven hats I think, so it wasn't a total bust.) Anyway, the other four were out and about for most of the day, and they all had a good time.

We did a cosplay of Final Fantasy 7. We had Sephiroth, Tifa, Vincent, Aerith (or Aeris, whatever), Yuffie, and Reno. Our last member was from FF10, Tidus (But he didn't make his costume, so boo on your Kitsu).

So, as anyone who reads this probably knows, we're based in Alaska (For now) and the convention was in Anchorage. So, three of us stayed in Anchorage, and two came in around 8:45.

We all got prettied up, and wigs on. We packed up all our stuff, and left around 11. We had to make a last minute stop at a craft store, and managed to grab some flowers and a basket for our Aerith.

So, we make it to Senshi-con, at around 11:40 or so. Two of us go in (that is, me and Momma Caketown) and we go to set up our booth. We come back for the rest of our group's stuff, and it's all good.

So, as for myself, I was manning the booth, so I didn't move around much over the course of the day. This also means I missed most of the con activities. Bummer, but it's all good.

But here's our "Reno"'s view on what she saw:
"Hey, I saw many cool cosplayers and my favorite, deidara. I walked around with Jack Sparrow most of the time and took pictures of many. The hugs were awsome but the next day I felt them at work."

That's her for you. (She doesn't like my keyboard.)

Anyways, moving onto the skit/cosplay contest. It was alot of fun, and I think we did pretty well given that this was our real skit, and we didn't get a chance to reherse like I would have liked. But, all in all, it was fun. We didn't win anything though, but it's all for the fun. (Here's the link [link] )

We all split out pretty early, like, 3 hours before it was over. we were all pretty tired.

Our Vincent, Reno, and Aerith went back out to Wasilla, but Sephiroth and me (Tifa) went back to our brother's house and sat up for a couple hours drawing and eating Chineese food. Mmm.

Some of the costumes were 'okay', so we'll probably improve them and post better pictures of them when we do a photo shoot.
